Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre Company was invited to perform our hit 2025 production Art of Wise at the prestigious biennial International Black Theatre Festival. It ran July 27 to August 1 2026 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, hosted by NC Black Repertory.

It’s always exciting to take our fabulous Pittsburgh actors to the festival. We’ve had the honor to perform three shows there in previous festivals: Miss Julie, Clarissa and John, Savior Samuel and The Bluegrass Mile.
