Real estate developer Harmond Wilks is determined to become the first black mayor of Pittsburgh, on a mission to revive his blighted childhood neighborhood. As Wilks confronts characters from the past, he is forced to question how pursuing change could put his neighborhood’s history at risk.

The Friday August 16th performance is a special celebration, a casual summer evening of history, art, theatre, music, culture, and a salute to the Divine Nine (a group of nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations). Happy Hour mixer at 5:30, performance indoors at 6:30, live music from The BVG’s, with Larry Estes on guitar, at intermission and after the show, and art by the Kre-A-Div Kingz on display and available for purchase. At Madison Arts Center. Food and drink included.
